Dr. Hamid Shokoohi is Director of Emergency Ultrasound at Massachusetts General Hospital and President-Elect of the Society of Ultrasound Fellowships (SCUF).
An internationally recognized leader in point-of-care ultrasound, he has dedicated his career to advancing ultrasound education, research, and clinical integration across diverse healthcare settings.
His work focuses on critical care ultrasound, shock, cardiac and pulmonary emergencies, procedural ultrasound, global health, and emerging applications of artificial intelligence in POCUS.
He has authored more than 170 peer-reviewed publications and has served in leadership roles with WINFOCUS, SCUF, SAEM and
other international ultrasound organizations.
A passionate educator and mentor, Dr. Shokoohi has trained fellows and clinicians from around the world, many of whom now hold leadership positions in ultrasound and emergency medicine. His contributions to research, education, and innovation have been recognized through numerous national and international awards.

Dr. Nour Al Jalbout is an internationally recognized expert in point-of-care ultrasound and a leader in emergency ultrasound education.
She serves as Co-Director of the Harvard Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship and the International Fellowship in Emergency Ultrasound at Mass General Brigham and is Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Harvard Medical School.
After earning her medical degree from the American University of Beirut and completing emergency medicine residency training at Johns Hopkins University, where she served as Chief Resident, she completed a fellowship in Emergency Ultrasound at Massachusetts General Hospital and joined its faculty.
Her work focuses on resuscitative ultrasound, trauma-informed sonography, transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), simulation-based education, and the expansion of ultrasound training across diverse healthcare environments worldwide.
An award-winning educator and mentor, she has led numerous educational and quality improvement initiatives that advance ultrasound practice, patient safety, and excellence in emergency care.
She also serves as Medical Director for Quality and Safety at Massachusetts General Hospital, leading institution-wide efforts in quality improvement and patient safety.

Maribor, Slovenia
Vitka Vujanović, MD, PHD is a senior Emergency Medicine Specialist, serving as Head of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) unit in Radlje ob Dravi (since November 2023) and as a specialist in Maribor. She is a major leader, acting as President of the Union of Emergency Medicine Doctors ZDRAV UM (since July 2023) and a Member of the Main Expert Council of the Medical Association Slovenija (since April 2023).
She is also the Vice President for WINFOCUS Slovenia and she is WINFOCUS Eastern Europe Activities Coordinator. Dr. Vujanović is highly active in medical education. She is an experienced Instructor and Course Director for WINFOCUS, having organized over 30 courses and helped expand the program across the Balkans. She holds academic roles at the Universities of Ljubljana and Maribor, where she earned her MD.
