Harvard Medical School, USA
Dr. Cindy Law is a gastroenterologist at Massachusetts General Hospital specializing in inflammatory bowel disease and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. She completed her medical training and gastroenterology fellowship in Canada, followed by an Advanced Fellowship in Inflammatory Bowel Disease at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York.
As Director of the Intestinal Ultrasound Program at Massachusetts General Hospital, Dr. Law leads efforts to integrate intestinal ultrasound into routine IBD care. She serves on the Education Committee of the Intestinal Ultrasound Group of the United States and Canada (iUSCAN).
Her clinical and research interests focus on advancing the use of intestinal ultrasound to improve disease monitoring, guide treatment decisions, and enhance outcomes for patients with IBD.

University of Calgary, Canada
Dr. Kerri Novak is an academic gastroenterologist at the University of Calgary, and the imaging lead within the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Clinic. She is a pioneer of intestinal ultrasound, having been the first GI doc to start using it as a point of care tool in clinic in 2013.
She is now the president of the International Bowel Ultrasound Group, an umbrella organization comprised of over 2600 members from 80 different countries. She is passionate about clinical innovation and in particular, transforming IBD care with IUS.

University of Milan, Italy
Dr. Giovanni Maconi is Associate Professor of Gastroenterology and Head of the Gastroenterology Unit at Luigi Sacco University Hospital in Milan, Italy. His research focuses on gastrointestinal imaging and ultrasound, inflammatory bowel diseases, diverticular disease, and H. pylori infection.
He has published over 300 peer‑reviewed articles and extensively contributed to international imaging guidelines for societies including EFSUMB, European Crohn’s and Colitis Organization and International Bowel Ultrasound (IBUS).
He is Co‑Editor‑in‑Chief of the European Journal of Gastroenterology & Hepatology and editorial board member of Scandinavian Journal of Gastroenterology, Clinical Drug Investigation, and Drugs.

Dr. Hamid Shokoohi is Director of Emergency Ultrasound at Massachusetts General Hospital and President-Elect of the Society of Ultrasound Fellowships (SCUF).
An internationally recognized leader in point-of-care ultrasound, he has dedicated his career to advancing ultrasound education, research, and clinical integration across diverse healthcare settings.
His work focuses on critical care ultrasound, shock, cardiac and pulmonary emergencies, procedural ultrasound, global health, and emerging applications of artificial intelligence in POCUS.
He has authored more than 170 peer-reviewed publications and has served in leadership roles with WINFOCUS, SCUF, SAEM and
other international ultrasound organizations.
A passionate educator and mentor, Dr. Shokoohi has trained fellows and clinicians from around the world, many of whom now hold leadership positions in ultrasound and emergency medicine. His contributions to research, education, and innovation have been recognized through numerous national and international awards.
