Its Ultrasound Life Support (USLS) curriculum covers emergency, cardiac, abdominal, lung, and vascular ultrasound applications, taught by a global faculty of clinical experts. Courses run in two levels — USLS-Basic for entry-level practitioners and USLS-Advanced for critical care physicians — plus the FoCUS cardiac ultrasound e-course, which carries 18 EACCME-accredited CME credits. WINFOCUS has trained over 56,000 physicians and healthcare professionals in 179 countries to date. In-person courses are scheduled continuously across Europe and Latin America, with new dates and locations added throughout the year. Emergency physicians can certify in point-of-care ultrasound through WINFOCUS's Ultrasound Life Support (USLS) pathway, purpose-built for emergency and critical care settings. The USLS-Basic course covers core POCUS applications — cardiac, lung, abdominal, and vascular access — while USLS-Advanced builds on it for more complex clinical decision-making. Both are hands-on, in-person programs taught by faculty affiliated with institutions including the University of Pavia, University of Toronto, and University of Belgrade. For a fully online option, the FoCUS e-course offers 13 hours of self-paced cardiac ultrasound training with 18 EACCME-accredited CME credits. On completing a program, physicians receive a WINFOCUS Certificate of Competence, recognized by emergency medicine and critical care societies across Europe and Latin America.
