World Congress 2022 Videos

More than 250 PoCUS experts from over 70 countries and representing almost every discipline to present the latest concepts in ultrasonography in four broad tracks.

Track one

Track 1: PoCUS for the specialist, new science, and the cutting edge

What is new in ultrasound?  New approaches, new uses, new ideas, new applications?  What lies beyond the horizon? What new tools are being developed? How will new forms of connectivity, AI, and machine learning affect future directions of PoCUS?   What new scientific information is there to topple the shibboleths of PoCUS?  Are you heading for the frontier? Check out this Track for a taste of what might be in store for you there. All sessions will include 20 to 40 minutes of panel discussion in which you will be able to share your knowledge and insights as well as your doubts and concerns.

Track two

Track 2: PoCUS for the generalist; honing skills, refining practice

Why do the top athletes in the world spend hours a week with trainers who have never won a major competition? Which of us knows so much about ultrasound that we cannot profit from the insights and experience of others? Tune in to Track 2 to put a new edge on tried and tested tools; to refresh, refine, recalibrate and generally spruce up your ultrasound practice. All sessions will include 20 to 40 minutes of panel discussion in which you will be able to share your knowledge and insights as well as your doubts and concerns.

Track three

Neighbors and friends: sharing the PoCUS space with other societies and groups

Although many practitioners have known for years how PoCUS supports and enriches clinical practice, this discovery is being made by an ever-widening range of specialties. Track 3 will allow specialists who are not using ultrasound to find out “what all the fuss is about” from leaders who discuss how ultrasound is modifying practice and improving patient care. But the goal is not solely to provide space for each specialty to discuss PoCUS in its own field. Finding out how colleagues in other fields are using ultrasound will allow each of us to tap into new wellsprings of knowledge for our own practice. All sessions will include 20 to 40 minutes of panel discussion in which you will be able to share your knowledge and insights as well as your doubts and concerns.

Track four

Deconstructing Babel: Regions and countries speak in their own language about their own issues

WINFOCUS is is a sustaining space, a walled garden where the world’s sonologist meet, exchange ideas, debate, and celebrate their shared mission. Yet in every part of the world PoCUS plays a different role within different cultural, legal, and clinical environments. In this Track, WINFOCUS communities around the world have been invited to showcase their local teachers, to share locally important information, to brainstorm, and to disseminate their unique solutions. Some Sessions will be conducted in non-English language, others will be devoted to specific regional or national themes. Vive la difFerence! Session leaders have been encouraged to design the two hours as they see fit, but in most, as in the other tracks, there will be a panel discussion at the end of the Session in which you will be able to share your knowledge and insights as well as your doubts and concerns.
