Advanced Level Provider LUS-A
The Advanced Lung Ultrasound course is aimed for physicians who take care of patients with acute lung pathologies in stable or critical conditions.
It’s a goal-oriented approach aimed to provide the clinician with the key Advanced Lung Ultrasound knowledge on non-invasive procedures to manage patients with acute dyspenea, pneuomonia or critical lung pathologies.
The Advanced LUS is aimed for physicians (critical care, emergency, anesthesiologists, primary care, cardiac surgeons, cardiologists, pneumologists) with a previous experience in LUS and have previously participated in the WINFOCUS LUS Basic Course.
Based on the FEEL and FATE clinical-ultrasound protocols. Minimum theoretical exposures and subsequent practice tutoring in healthy models.
The course is held in two days and is divided into three parts: Oral Presentations, Interactive Discussion of real Clinical Cases and Hands-On Practice and Mentoring on healthy models.
The trainers are experts in point-of-care ultrasound and have an extensive experience in teaching. They provide participants with a remarkable amount of practical learnings, simulations and interactive cases.
A blend of superb educational material, contagious passion for teaching, and PoCUS competence of the highest level. Really kind of a “dream course” for any Focused Cardiac Ultrasound learner.
“Taking the WINFOCUS FoCUS course when I was a resident or fellow would have made my PoCUS education more immediate and effective. The course is up to date with the most recent recommendations, and the level of lectures is of absolute excellence. I strongly recommend it to every physician who manages critical patients.”
“The WINFOCUS Academy offers a comprehensive POCUS educational format beyond the typical "spot-the-pathology" approach. With the aim of mastering POCUS competence, it equips learners with the necessary skills to effectively incorporate POCUS into their patient management in real-world clinical scenarios. This much-needed resource has been a long time coming.”
“Point of care ultrasound is image acquisition, interpretation, and integration. There are few courses that teach all three. Finally, an educational platform and courses that do - and with decades of experience in their instructors!”
