Webinar PART I: The Fundamentals: How PoCUS helps to identify the mechanism(s) of your patient’s shock and tailor initial management.

This session focuses on the fundamentals: shock syndromes, SHoC scanning, and typical POCUS findings. It will review the evidence and discuss cases that highlight decisions about initial fluid management +/- use of inopressors. Ultrasound’s role in commonly encountered critical conditions including tamponade and hemodynamically significant pulmonary embolism will be considered.

Presented by Tim Harris and moderated by Doctors Larry Melniker and Effie Polyzogopoulou
