Her passion for POCUS education took root during her medical school years.
After intensive training alongside a world-class team, Dr. Tofighi began teaching POCUS at the young age of 23, becoming the youngest instructor in their team when she was a 4th-year medical student.
Their team has since conducted numerous national and international workshops, tailoring the curriculum to various medical specialties including emergency medicine, nephrology, gastroenterology, pulmonology, pediatrics, anesthesiology, surgery, and neurosurgery.
Her teaching combines theoretical lectures with hands-on practice stations.
Dr. Tofighi’s dedication to POCUS education stems from her belief that this valuable skill must be accessible to all medical professionals, regardless of their level of training. She takes pride in introducing novice learners to the world of ultrasonography and empowering them with this essential diagnostic tool.
With her unique journey and teaching experience, Dr. Tofighi brings a fresh perspective to ultrasonography training and its applications across various clinical settings.
