Clinician-performed ultrasound (CPUS) and Point-of Care Ultrasound (PoCUS) have emerged as uniquely useful tools in the rapid diagnosis of many morbidities of the disease including acute respiratory failure, hypoxia, lung injury, air-space disease, intravascular volume derangements, and cardiogenic shock.
