Hannah Conway

Hannah Conway is Associate Professor at Warwick Medical School and an Advanced Critical Care Practitioner specialising in echocardiography and point-of-care ultrasound.

She is the National Lead for FUSIC® Heart in the UK, responsible for national strategy and accreditation in focused echocardiography. Hannah is lead author of the REMOTE Study, the first published evaluation of real-time tele- mentoring in echocardiography within UK intensive care.

She also co-authored the recent AI and Machine Learning in Critical Care Ultrasound review, highlighting how artificial intelligence can reduce operator variability and democratise advanced diagnostics.

Her research integrates ultrasound education, telemedicine, and AI-enabled imaging, with particular interests in right ventricular function and digital health innovation. Through leadership, research, and clinical practice, she contributes to advancing both the science and system-level implementation of POCUS worldwide
