Dr. Graciela Maldonado (Gracie) is Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Mayo Clinic, currently at Mass General Brigham – Harvard, completing an Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Fellowship and in August of 2025 she will be the Emergency Medicine Regional Ultrasound Director for the Southeast Minnesota Region of Mayo Clinic.
Over the last 20 years she has dedicated herself to point of care ultrasound (POCUS) in a variety of roles including POCUS research coordinator and curriculum development for the UC Irvine School of Medicine and Emergency Medicine Residency, she has published a variety research articles on POCUS, and has taught POCUS to hundreds of people locally, nationally, and internationally.
