Filipe André Gonzalez

Dr. Filipe André Gonzalez specialized in Internal Medicine in 2014 and in Intensive Care in 2019.

He holds the European Diploma in Echocardiography in Critical Care (EDEC) and serves as an EDEC Supervisor in Portugal, also acting as an invited jury member for the European Diploma of Intensive Care (EDIC II) by the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine (ESICM).

He’s a PhD student and affiliated professor of Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon (FMUL) and a Member of the Portuguese Society of Intensive Care (SPCI).

Notable publications fields include diastology, septic cardiomyopathy, artificial intelligence tools in intensive care, echocardiography and lung ultrasound.

Beyond his research, he’s actively involved in medical education, notably through his role as a coordinator of courses of POCUS, Advanced Echocardiography and Hemodynamic Monitoring.
