This in-person, theory-and-practice course is part of the WINFOCUS curriculum and is designed to train participants in multifocal ultrasound, “head-to-toe,” with a focus on the acutely ill and critically ill patient. The training is oriented toward faster decision-making, improved diagnostic accuracy, and stronger clinical monitoring in emergency and ICU settings.
This in-person, theory-and-practice course is grounded in published scientific evidence and the experience of international experts. By the end of the course, participants will be able to acquire reference images, interpret them in clinical context, and integrate them into protocols for acute/critical illness.
WINFOCUS USLS (Ultrasound in Life Support) is intended for physicians and other healthcare professionals caring for patients in acute, urgent, or critical conditions in pre-hospital and in-hospital environments.
Objective-based practical sessions with an ultrasound machine and a human model, ensuring meaningful hands-on time for each participant. Includes a station dedicated to clinical case discussion.
A 40-question multiple-choice test (20 theory + 20 image/video questions). Passing score: minimum 50% correct answers.
Do I need prior ultrasound experience?
No. This is a basic-level course.
Is the certificate recognized?
Yes. It is an official WINFOCUS certificate with international validity.
