Combined Residency in Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine at SUNY Downstate Health Science Center / King’s County Hospital. Clinical Faculty at St Joseph Hospital Denver. Associate Clinical Faculty University of Colorado Anchutz School of Medicine.

Dr Zeccola has an academic clinical practice in both Emergency Medicine and Hospitalist Medicine in Denver, Colorado.

He has a special interest in regional anesthesia and ultrasound guided interventions for pain in the acute care and palliative care settings.

He consults as an Acute Pain specialist at St Joseph Hospital, on both Emergency Department and on the inpatient wards.

Dr Zeccola has distinguished himself in the volume of regional anesthesia procedures he has performed, with particular applications in the treatment of low back pain with the use of Lumbar Erector Spinae Plane blocks.

He is a regular lecturer in national conferences on the applications of regional anesthesia in the Emergency Department.
