Course description

This course leverages over 15 years of global experience by WINFOCUS in teaching Point-of-Care Ultrasound (PoCUS).

The US- NURSE© course is specifically designed for nurses and paramedics who are new to ultrasound, aiming to advance their skills in performing essential bedside assessments and managing patients, particularly within acute care environments.

The curriculum includes ultrasound- guided peripheral vein cannulation, bladder evaluation and catheter placement, assessment of the prandial state and nasogastric tube insertion, as well as verification of correct oro-tracheal tube placement and effective ventilation.

Additionally, completion of this course serves as preparation for obtaining the internationally recognized WINFOCUS US-NURSE© certification.

Course content

This course offers participants both the theoretical foundation and practical skills necessary for an effective introduction to Point-of-Care Ultrasound (PoCUS).

Significant emphasis is placed on hands-on training, with a guaranteed trainer-to-trainee ratio of no more than 1 to 5.

Participants will also receive comprehensive course handouts and instructional materials.
