Description
USG regional anesthesia is being increasingly used in the emergency departments/A&Es for different uses.
One of the applications is to perform nerve blocks to provide pain relief in trauma patients. Fascia lliaca/ Femoral Nerve blocks for lower limb fractures and Intercostal/Thoracic Paravertebral Blocks for Rib fractures are becoming standard of care in many departments.
This course Will focus on setting up safe USG pain relief services in Emergency Departments.
Target Audience
This course is aimed at practicing Emergency/A& E Physicians who would like to setup USG pain relief services in their friends.

Lecture on safe use of local anaesthetics and dealing with toxicity
Lecture on General introduction to USG nerve blocks and Knobology
Workshop on needing techniques using Phantoms
