Carolyne Cormack
Carolynne is a senior sonographer with more than 30 years clinical experience. She is a passionate educator and is currently undertaking a PhD focused on the development of point-of-care ultrasound education in Australasia.
Carolynne is actively engaged in the wider ultrasound community, serving several organisations in faculty, board and advisory roles.
Carolynne is a fellow of Australasian Sonographers Association (ASA), recognised for her contributions to the profession as Sonographer of the Year (Victoria) 2022 and Educator of the Year 2016.
She has served as a director on the board of Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Groups (EMUGs).
She is a member of Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (ASUM) and International Association for Health Professions Education (AMEE).
Carolynne is a peer reviewer for several journals and a regularly invited conference presenter.
Her interests include ultrasound educational development, clinical quality improvement, innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration and research.
