Adam O´Brien
Adam has worked as an emergency physician at The Royal Children´s Hospital for more than 20 years.
About a decade ago, he became intrigued by point-of-care ultrasound and its potential role to provide real-time anatomical, physiological, and pathological information for the clinician at the bedside.
After completing a Diploma in Diagnostic Ultrasound, he embarked upon setting up a safe and effective POCUS Service at the Royal Children’s Hospital.
He is now focused on teaching the next generation of paediatric emergency physicians the many benefits of POCUS.
