WINFOCUS India
We are a highly motivated group of 25 intensivists, including 11 consultants, who share an unwavering passion for point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) in the ICU.
Over the course of more than 13 years, we have dedicated ourselves to propagating the teachings of POCUS. Our journey as a WINFOCUS International Training Organization (ITO) began in 2013 with the successful execution of our inaugural USLS course in Kolkata, India.
Driven by our deep ardour for POCUS, we have expanded its application in ICUs and ERs nationwide. We have conducted numerous USLS courses in collaboration with WINFOCUS, spanning over a decade, both in India and neighbouring countries such as Maldives and Sri Lanka.
To date, the ITO, in partnership with WINFOCUS, has successfully conducted 58 courses, encompassing various levels of certification.
Our team has played a pivotal role in developing recommendations and competencies that define the practice of POCUS in India. We remain steadfast in our commitment to advancing knowledge and bedside application of POCUS.
We firmly believe that learning is an ever-ongoing process that enriches potential and experience, leading to continual improvements in performance.
