CALL for ABSTRACTS

ABSTRACT & POSTER PRESENTATION
Those people interested in presenting contributions on topics relative to the Congress may send their material exclusively uploading them below no later than August 23, 2011. 
Works will be evaluated by a WINFOCUS COMMITTEE. All the accepted papers will be presented as posters at the 7th WINFOCUS WORLD CONGRESS and published on the ‘Critical UltraSound Journal’, the official Journal of WINFOCUS. The Journal is dedicated to point-of-care UltraSound in critical scenarios, published by Springer, and it will be spread at the Congress. 
Acceptance will be sent by email to the first author indicated on the form, contextually to the date of display, by September 10, 2011. 
Presenters must be regularly registered to the Congress, unless ‘part of the faculty’.
Abstracts must be typed and presented in English.

Oral Presentation
Only the best selected papers will be presented also as oral presentation during the conference. It will be allotted, for each presentation, a maximum time of 10 minutes for 5 slides (7 min. presentation + 3 min. discussion). Audio-visual equipment shall be provided in the plenary room.

Poster Session
The maximum size for each poster area is 90 cm (width) x 120 cm (height). In scheduled sessions, presenters could be required to assist their work in order to present it to attendees.
No audio-visual equipment shall be provided for the poster presentation.

Authors’ Prizes
The best paper’s author will have the congress registration fee waived and free access to all 2012 WINFOCUS events worldwide, and will have a unique prize of 500 Euros (32.500 INR).

WINFOCUS CERTIFICATION
WINFOCUS attendance certificates will be issued to each participant by the Organizing Secretariat at the end of each event.
Any learning module, held aside the conference, may also represent the entry module for further ‘competence-based’ international certification (see details
at www.winfocus.org/uscme/uscmc).

English is the official language. No translation is provided.
