WINFOCUS WORLD 2012
CALL for ABSTRACTS
THE DEADLINE FOR THE ABSTRACTS SUBMISSION HAS EXPIRED
ABSTRACT & POSTER PRESENTATION
All the accepted papers will be presented as posters at the 8th WINFOCUS WORLD CONGRESS and published on the ‘Critical UltraSound Journal’, the official Journal of WINFOCUS (the Journal is dedicated to point-of-care UltraSound in critical scenarios, published by Springer, and it will be spread at the Congress).
Setup
All posters can be setup on October 21, from 16.00 to 18.00 and on October 22, from 08.30 in the poster area (Prefunction Verd), as per the numbering assigned to each poster and indicated on the poster boards.
Maximum poster size is 70 cm (width) x 100 cm (height).
Poster presentation
Presenters are required to assist in the poster area, in order to present their paper to the Evaluation Committee and the attendees, during the lunch break on October 22 (from 14.00 to 15.00).
No audio-visual equipment shall be provided for the poster presentation.
Oral presentations
The 6 best papers will be also presented orally during the Congress Plenary on October 22, from 17.30 to 18.30..
For each presentation it will be allotted a maximum time of 10 minutes for 5-6 slides (7 min. presentation + 3 min. discussion).
Audio-visual equipment will be provided in Congress Plenary room.
Best paper prize
The best paper author will be granted of:
- registration fee reimbursement
- 2013 WINFOCUS events worldwide free registration
- 500 Euros special prize
