The USCMC (UltraSound Critical Management Certification) Credentialing Pathways
After reading USCME & USCMC sections and the USLS, ECHO ICU, PRIMUS pages, find below a matrix template to develop your certification program, from 'Novice' to 'Expert' Level 1 Competency. Several USCMC learning modules are designed over 3 levels of practice and competency, as per WFUMB/EFSUMB recommendations, for any relevant area.
Each module is made-up of 2 learning phases (Part I and II) and a final certification exam (Part III).
Students accomplishing successfully the overall certification pathway, may apply for Winfocus International competence certification. It is also possible to participate solely to the theoretical and practical course (Part I), which allows to pursue the attendance certificate and training points as stated by the Continuous Medical Education programme of each single country.

- Self learning pre-course (4-8 h)
- Theoretical-practical course (8-16 h)
- Acknowledgement of CME credits and Winfocus attendance certificate
- PART II
- Supervised practical training/internship in clinical and simulation settings (1–6 months)
- Acknowledgement of CME credits and Winfocus attendance certificate
- PART III
- Certification Exam (4-8 h)
- Acknowledgement of CME credits, Winfocus attendance and competence certificates
