General and specific eligibility rules for regular, association and honorary membership are established by the bylaws available in the Statute section

1. MEMBERSHIP TYPES

INDIVIDUAL STANDARD & SPECIAL MEMBERSHIP

STANDARD Membership may be applied for by:
> Physicians, Nurses, Paramedics, Technicians, Engineers, Students, Specialists, Scientists, Teachers, Researchers, and commissioned in the field of ..
> Emergency Medicine, Emergency and Trauma Surgery, Intensive and Critical Care Medicine, Anaesthesiology, Pediatrics, Imaging and Radiology, Cardiology, O&G, Orthopedics, EMS/HEMS, Disaster Medicine, Austere/Remote/Wilderness Medicine, Tactical/Peace-keeping Medicine, Scarce-resource Medicine, Humanitarian initiatives, Hygiene and Public Health.

SPECIAL Membership annual fares (50% discount) are granted to special categories such as:
> Allied Health Care personnel (Nurses, Paramedics, Midwives, Technicians, etc..), and 
> Full-time Students attending an accredited college or university, and having an express interest in the fields above mentioned. 
During or immediately after registration, professionals eligible for special fee, should prove their status forwarding a student ID or a HOD certification to our Secretariat.

CORPORATE MEMBERSHIPS

Institutions and associations interested in our society's goals may apply for the corporate membership; such bodies will be accordingly acknowledged by WINFOCUS as partners of its worldwide mission.

SUSTAINING & LIFE-TIME MEMBERSHIP

Individual or corporate members particularly committed to support WINFOCUS through its worldwide scientific and humanitarian activities, may apply for a sustaining or a life-time membership.

The Association is international in both membership and scope of interest, providing opportunities to associate and exchange ideas with the world's foremost medical specialists and internationally renowned scientists. Medical leaders and scientists from more than 40 nations have been actively supporting WINFOCUS network over last three years.

PARTICIPATION IN COMMITTE ACTION

Voluntary participation as a member of a standing committee or sub-committee allows both personal contributions and an opportunity for interpersonal exchange of ideas in areas of Association interest, by the unified promotion of continuing education, clinical research, technology development, and International networking throughout all the critical scenarios. See the organigram in the Committee & Sections area. 

PARTICIPATION IN SPECIAL PROJECTS

Voluntary participation in the most exciting WINFOCUS projects:
ILCEUS (International Liasion on Critical and Emergency UltraSound): within this project you could actively participate in designing International Guidelines and Recommendations for PHC, EME and CCM education and clinical practice, based on evidences and International consensus.
PRIMUS (Primary UltraSound): adhering to this plan you will contribute to develop organizational models to bring ultrasound to the rural scarce-resource communities in the developing countries.
UNITED (Winfocus University): this project aims to develop International Standards for Medical School Curricula networking Universities thorughout about 15 countries.
USCMC (US Critical Management Course): members are directly involved in managing educational program and delivering lectures in occasion of the USCMC courses currently held in more than 30 countries in the 5 continents.
 
ANNUAL SCIENTIFIC MEETINGS

The Association's Annual Scientific Meetings, organized at world or regional level, provide multi-faceted forums for all professionals embracing point-of-care critical ultrasound, and concurrently provides continuing education credits for the participants. Members could attend several events for free or at very disocounted rates. 
Members could also participate as faculty in the events that WINFOCUS is directly promoting or endorsing worldwide; according to the resources available travelling, accommodation and honorarium could be granted, as well.
 
PROFESSIONAL JOURNAL

As from October 2009, the annual membership includes subscription to the peer-reviewed 3-monthly journal, Critical Ultrasound Journal
