This is an International course designed by WINFOCUS (World Interactive Network Focusing on Emergency and Critical Care Ultra-Sound) providing competences in point-of-care Critical Ultrasound.

The faculty from WINFOCUS will train delegates in using Ultrasound according to ‘ABCDE’ and ‘Head to-toes’ priority pathways in order to enhance rapid and effective decision making in triaging, diagnosing, treating, and monitoring acute and critical patients. The course will broadly cover general principles of ultrasound, how to interpret the ultrasound patterns of the major severely acute syndromes, and the guidance technique of the major invasive procedures. The delegates will also have hands on practice sessions so as to make them comfortable to use ultrasound in critical care services.
